The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

On behalf of the Editorial Board I invite you to submit your articles, reviews and dissertations concerning Graeco-Roman antiquity in our newly formed, interdisciplinary scholarly web journal 'Littera Antiqua', which will be published in the Institute of Classical Studies of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
We especially encourage classical philologists, historians, philosophers and all the scholars whose field of study is antiquity. The journal is planned to be published annually. The primary version is online version (open access).
The reviewers from different academic centres of Poland and Europe will watch over its scholarly standards. Articles which are published in "Littera Antiqua" are indexed in CEEOL, AWOL, ARIANA and DOAJ. Our application is also considered by Index Copernicus.
The basic reasons behind the creation of the new journal are: publication results of research as soon as possible, possibility of academic discussion, the possibility of using for its purposes new information technology such as presentations, animations, music and photographs, which is not possible in the traditional scholarly journals published in print.
